Funny DVS Shirt

I really don't understand this shirt. I get that it's a quote from "Brokeback Mountain", but seeing as how most skaters are younger kids, how many have seen, or will admit to have seen, the movie? If they just take the words at face value, why would they want to quit skating? Maybe I'm thinking too hard about this.
